Membership
Membership in the Connecticut Chapter of PRIMA is open to those employed in the risk management field in the public sector, and those in private sector firms that provide risk management services.
Membership Categories
Regular Member:
Risk management professionals employed in the PUBLIC SECTOR, such as state agencies, local governments and intergovernmental risk sharing pools. Regular members may hold office and cast votes. Every represented agency must include at least one public sector member.
Additional Regular Members from the SAME EMPLOYER receive a $10 discount on membership.
Associate Member:
Other persons or entities with a professional interest in risk management, insurance or safety.
Additional Associate Members from the SAME EMPLOYER receive a $10 discount on membership.
Enhanced Member:
risk management professionals employed in the PUBLIC SECTOR. This level includes annual membership dues AND payment for chapter meetings for the membership year.
Retired Member:
FULLY retired former employees of public sector risk management department are eligible for a no-charge membership. Payment is required only for seminars and meetings for which there is a charge. Contact us for details.

Regular Additional Employee
Fee: $25.00
An additional employee who works for the same firm as the Regular Member.
Enhanced Member
Fee: $175.00 *Adjusted: $175.00
An employee of a municipality or quasi employer only. Your fee includes your membership and (4) meetings each year.
Associate Member
Fee: $65.00 *Adjusted: $65.00
Other persons or entities with a professional interest in risk management, insurance or safety. Vendors, contractors, etc. would be eligible to join under this category.
Associate Member - Additional Employee
Fee: $55.00 *Adjusted: $55.00
Other persons or entities with a professional interest in risk management, insurance or safety. Vendors, contractors, etc. would be eligible to join under this category.
Sponsor Member
Fee: $500.00
Sponsorship is $500 per year, which allows for 1 member of the company to be an associate member.
Fully Retired Member
Fee: No Charge
Enhanced Fully Retired Member
Fee: $35.00
